Paul Pope’s Batman Statue

I see that DC Comics is solicting a statue based on Paul Pope’s Batman Year 100. It’s a pretty statue, but it doesn’t look anything like the Batman in the actual comic book. So I’ve taken the opportunity to correct the statue to match the comic.

Paul Pope's Batman

I can’t quite get the right level of deformity in there, but I think that matches what I’ve seen in the comic I’ve been reading much more closely. That’s why I call it "Dwarfy McSquashedHead: Year 100"

Tomorrow sees the release of the last issue of Batman Year 100. I had given up on buying it, since I found it to be extremely bad, but I think I’ll go ahead and get the last issue just for fun. After all, I buy Nightwing and it’s much worse.
