IGN.com has a list of their top 25 X-Men. Not a bad list, I suppose, and they should probably get an award for not naming Wolverine number one, but who the heck are #24, Chamber and #18, Blink? They seem to be rather generic, despite the breathless write up on Blink: “She remains the most popular X-Man to never earn a starring role in either of the premier X-Men books.” Is she really that popular?
Anyhow, I’d probably put Lockheed ahead of either of them.

Responses to “Top 25 X-Men: How Many Do I Recognize?”
Regarding Blink’s popularity: created as a one-off character who sacrificed herself at the end of the storyline that introduced the cast of Generation X, she was then brought back in Age of Apocolypse, given her own mini-series, and finally used as a headliner in Exiles, all because of the fan outcry following her initial demise. Not bad for a throw-away character, eh?
But I’m with you on Chamber; Lockheed would own his behind.
Personally, I was disappointed not to see Rachel Summers or Cannonball, but at least Madrox made the list
