It’s trying to distill a fairly complex comic mini-series into a 90 minute movie, and that usually doesn’t work too well. Also, the direct-to-video DC Comic movies have been hit or miss, with mostly misses recently.

The voice talent looks to be great. I’m especially excited that Lucy Lawless will finally be playing Wonder Woman (Hollywood missed an opportunity for a live action movie with her). Lots of other big names, as well, like David Boreanaz, Neil Patrick Harris, Miguel Ferrer (as J’onn Jonzz, below). I’m hoping it’s good.
